Salamandra

Feature Film

The six-year-old Inti is living happily with his grandmother when Alba turns up. His young mother wants to reclaim him and takes him along on a hitchhiking trip to a mythic valley in Patagonia, where she wants to start anew. When they reach their destination it is far from mythical. Crammed in with dropouts from all over the world they stay at the house of the late doctor Schulz surrounded by his peculiar instruments, his insect collections, a host of animals and a cacophony of ideologies.
